Benson Partners consists of a team of first class professional and support staff, all of whom are highly educated and trained.  Young and enthusiastic, our people are dedicated to client service and desire to make a difference.

Peter Benson – pbenson@bensonpartners.biz

The founder and Managing Director of Benson Partners, Peter holds the degree of Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Queensland and is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants.  He received his early training whilst employed in another medium sized firm of chartered accountants before commencing Benson Partners in February 2005.  Apart from his role as Managing Director he is responsible for tax management and structuring, succession and estate planning.  A father of 3, Peter enjoys all facets of fatherhood.

Jenelle Schultz – jschultz@bensonpartners.biz

As an experienced Client Manager, Jenelle has a portfolio of business clients in a diverse array of industries and professions.  She also specialises in BAS/IAS issues, MYOB and Quickbooks and is now developing our equipment finance program.  Having the experience of being on the other side of a company, Jenelle is able to offer insight into the practical side of running a business, rather than just gathering the information and reporting on the results.  In her spare time she likes to shop, watch ‘daggy old movies’, rearrange furniture and socialise with friends.

Sally Berthelsen – sberthelsen@bensonpartners.biz

Having completed a Bachelor of Business majoring in Accounting and Banking & Finance, Sally has worked with the firm since its formation.   She now specialises in superannuation and enjoys working in a friendly work environment.  Sally has a wide range of knowledge regarding setup maintenance, administration and taxation of self managed superannuation funds.  During her time with the firm she has also gained valuable experience in the general areas of accounting and taxation for all entity types, group structuring and administration of investment portfolios.  Sally combines her years of experience with an innovative and pro-active approach to achieve the best result for clients.  Making it all “understandable”, she is a trusted advisor to her clients.  Her interests include travel, creating personalised cards, reading and in particular the company of her family and friends.

Jenny Cook – jcook@bensonpartners.biz

Currently completing her Bachelor of Business (Accounting), Jenny specialises in managing taxation for individuals and small businesses.  Enjoying the interaction with clients and colleagues, in her spare time Jenny takes pleasure in playing netball, socialising and relaxing at the beach.

Carolyn Brown – cbrown@bensonpartners.biz

As Personal Assistant to the Client Support Manager, Carolyn plays an important role in organising appointments, data entry, bookkeeping and general office duties.   Liaising with clients and associates on a regular basis and resting on a Diploma in Business Administration, Carolyn boasts excellent communication with a vibrant personality and a genuine interest in dealing with clients and co-workers at all times.  To relax, she gets a kick out of shopping, hairdresser visits, going to the movies and catching up with friends.
